Discover our high-strength steel castings, designed specifically for heavy-duty applications. Engineered to withstand extreme conditions, these castings offer unparalleled durability and reliability. Perfect for industries like construction and manufacturing.
Our fabrication facility is equipped to manufacture custom-size components for
specialized needs with minimal lead times
For sidewalks and grassy areas exposed only to pedestrian or lawn-maintenance traffic.
For areas subject to regular vehicular traffic. Products in this classification meet or
exceed AASHTO H-20 / HS-20S standards and are proof-load tested to a minimum of
40,000 lbs.
For areas subject to heavy vehicular traffic. Products meet or exceed AASHTO H-25/HS-25S standards and proof load tested to a minimum of 50,000 lbs.
For airports, marine ports, and heavy industrial applications. Products meet or exceed
FAA load requirements of 100,000 lbs. and are proof load tested up to 250,000 lbs. as per product specifications.
All new products undergo destructive load testing. Subsequently, General Foundries
performs regular proof load testing on all Heavy-Duty products by applying a
concentrated load on a 9” × 9” contact area at the center of the casting.
